Inconditionnel passionné de sons acid depuis les années 90… voire même depuis les années 80 sans le savoir, avec le fameux S’Express – Theme from S’Express ! 😁
Mes premiers amours se sont tournés vers l’acid trance, avec des artistes comme Hardfloor, qui m’ont perdu dans leur Silver Box avec Acid Abeyance et son exceptionnel album Bon Appetit. Puis Emmanuel Top avec Acid Phase, Turkish Bazar et tant d’autres morceaux entre trance et expérimental, Plank, Kai Tracid et toute cette scène acid trance qui me faisait passer des heures à chercher de nouveaux sons et à les écouter en boucle, à la maison comme à l’extérieur, le casque vissé sur les oreilles.
Puis un jour, en écoutant une mixtape d’Ixindamix des Spiral Tribe, j’ai découvert la London Acid Techno… et là, changement de trajectoire complet !
Ce style, mélange de techno et de punk, qui sont les deux styles de musique que j’adore (oui, je suis aussi fan de punk 😁), a eu sur moi un véritable effet libertaire et revendicatif, quelque chose que je ne trouvais nulle part ailleurs.
Je me suis alors mis à fouiller, chercher et écouter tout ce que je pouvais trouver sur ce style. J’achetais des vinyles dès que j’en trouvais et j’ai fait mes premiers pas dans le DJing avec cette musique.
30 années de passion infatigable, avec notamment la création d’AcidTekno.com pour continuer à faire découvrir, partager et faire vivre ce style qui me passionne toujours autant.
Actuellement la passion du djing ne m'a jamais quitté et j'ai récemment acquis du matos hardware pour m'essayer au live et à la production.

I’ve been an unconditional acid music lover since the ’90s… or even since the ’80s without knowing it, thanks to the legendary S’Express – Theme from S’Express! 😁
My first love was acid trance, with artists like Hardfloor, who got me lost in their Silver Box with Acid Abeyance and its exceptional album Bon Appetit. Then came Emmanuel Top with Acid Phase, Turkish Bazar and so many other tracks somewhere between trance and experimental, Plank, Kai Tracid, and the whole acid trance scene that kept me spending hours searching for new sounds and listening to them over and over, at home or out and about, headphones glued to my ears.
Then one day, while listening to a mixtape by Ixindamix of Spiral Tribe, I discovered London Acid Techno… and that completely changed my direction!
This style, a mix of techno and punk, which happen to be the two styles of music I love most (yes, I’m a punk fan too 😁), had a real liberating and rebellious effect on me — something I simply hadn’t found anywhere else.
I started digging, searching and listening to everything I could find about this style. I bought vinyl whenever I could find it and took my first steps into DJing with this music.
30 years of relentless passion, including the creation of AcidTekno.com, with the simple goal of continuing to discover, share and keep this music alive — a style that still gets me excited after all these years.
Today, my passion for DJing is still going strong, and I’ve recently got myself some hardware gear to give live performance and production a try.
