Mon aventure et le début de cette passion pour l’Acid Music commencent dans les années 90.

Mes oreilles sont alors submergées par les sons d’Acrid Abeyance et son mythique Bon Appétit, Emmanuel Top avec Acid Phase, Turkish Bazar, Tones, mais aussi Misjah, Tim Taylor, Plank, Tracid, Woody McBride et son label Communiqué, et bien d’autres.

Puis je découvre les free parties et, au détour d’une cassette, une mixtape d’Ixindamix (Spiral Tribe) avec un son venu directement de Londres : le London Acid Techno.

Un style percutant et sauvage, avec ses lignes de basse grinçantes et gueulardes qui résonnent comme des riffs de guitares punk. Révélation !

Dès lors, je me mets à fouiller les bacs des disquaires, à chercher des infos sur Internet et à acheter tout ce que je peux trouver. Je découvre des labels comme Stay Up Forever, Routemaster Records, Smitten, Boscaland, Acid Fever, Communiqué, Havoc, COSHH, ainsi que des artistes comme Chris Liberator, Dave The Drummer, DDR, The Geezer, Lawrie Immersion, Rowland The Bastard et bien d’autres.

Je commence alors à mixer et à diffuser mes propres mixtapes en teuf. Elles circulent et m’amènent progressivement à me produire un peu partout en France, en Suisse, en Autriche, en Pologne et en Belgique.

Depuis, ce sont plus de 30 années de passion pour l’acid, avec notamment la création d’AcidTekno.com. J’ai également vu émerger au fil des années de nombreux nouveaux labels comme Corrosive, Scythe Squadron, Alliance303, Acid Cirkus, ainsi qu’une nouvelle génération d’artistes, plus talentueux les uns que les autres.

La passion du DJing ne m’a jamais quitté et, récemment, j’ai acquis du matériel hardware pour m’essayer au live et à la production.

My journey and the beginning of my passion for Acid Music started back in the 90s.

My ears were flooded with the sounds of Acrid Abeyance and their legendary Bon Appétit, Emmanuel Top with Acid Phase, Turkish Bazar, Tones, as well as Misjah, Tim Taylor, Plank, Tracid, Woody McBride and his Communiqué label, and many others.

Then I discovered the free party scene and, among the many tapes I listened to, one particular mixtape really stood out: an Ixindamix (Spiral Tribe) mix featuring a sound coming straight from London — London Acid Techno.

A hard-hitting and wild style, with grinding, screaming basslines that sounded like punk guitar riffs. Revelation!

From that moment on, I started digging through record shop crates, searching the internet for any information I could find, and buying everything I could get my hands on. I discovered labels such as Stay Up Forever, Routemaster Records, Smitten, Boscaland, Acid Fever, Communiqué, Havoc, COSHH, along with artists like Chris Liberator, Dave The Drummer, DDR, The Geezer, Lawrie Immersion, Rowland The Bastard and many more.

I then started mixing and distributing my own mixtapes at free parties. They began circulating and gradually led to bookings all over France, as well as Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Belgium.

Since then, it’s been over 30 years of passion for acid, including the creation of AcidTekno.com. Over the years, I’ve also witnessed the emergence of many new labels such as Corrosive, Scythe Squadron, Alliance303 and Acid Cirkus, along with a new generation of incredibly talented artists.

My passion for DJing has never left me, and more recently I got some hardware gear to dive into live performance and production.
